WEST COAST SWING - Contemporary Social Dance - and/or School Based Programs - K thru 8th.

MAY 9th  starts the Intensive in KONA, HAWAII. May 9th through May 12th we'll be dancing, learning and having a ball with SKIPPY, JORDAN, & TATIANA.    Bigger Room - Bigger Floor than we've ever had in KONA before. Focus will still be on West Coast Swing, but there will also be a  bit of ALL Social Dance because of so many requests. Teachers & Dancers who want to raise their level of expertise in WCS, or broaden their range of knowledge in ANY dance are welcome.  Only $350 for 28 action packed hours of instruction & 3 nights of dancing. - PLUS printed materials for all four days.  The Universal Unit System(R) forms the base for our instruction.

NO it can't.  Someone can HAVE Body Flight without knowing they are doing Rolling Count - but any astute observer

will be able to SEE it.

LATEST News on the Children's Programs:

There are 6 teachers involved in Kona in the school program - and quite a few in Central and Southern California.

A Special Program for those who ARE involved or who would LIKE to be involved in teaching Children, was held March 1st in Lancaster and March 2nd in Downey.  CALL if you are interested in attending the next one.

Golden State Dance Teachers Association (GSDTA) is the largest and longest running Dance Teachers Organization, particularly when it comes to WEST COAST SWING. For the past 50 years, much of the evolution, development & innovation of this dance has come from the efforts of Skippy Blair and other Professional Members of GSDTA. Check the section on "WEST COAST SWING."

You'll find such innovations as: Rolling Count - Centering Knob - Center Point of Balance (CPB) - 3-Toe Base - Flash-Lighting - Single Tracking - Power Point - and more.  "Skippy Blair's Dance Dynamics(R)" continues to grow in leaps and bounds (after 50 years of development).
