CONNECTION & TECHNIQUE I for West Coast Swing  is a compilation of 15 different teachers, (including Skippy) with interviews and varying points of view on connection & technique. Not all Teachers are GSDTA, but this interesting mix, directed by Doug Silton, has a variety of excellent ideas and teachers.

DISCO to TANGO and BACK, Second printing of the original Dance Text Book - Still Used in several Colleges) -  There are no more copies left of Skippy's original 1978 book.  Used copies were selling on Amazon.com - as a collector's item - for over $100.  We DO have about 40 copies left of the 2nd printing. They are beautiful and are available at a nominal fee. This 2nd Printing contains 3 new articles, 2 new pictures and 3 pages of the updated Rhythm Units, showing every possible syncopation available in any social dance.  Those 3 pages alone are worth the price of the book.

The CRIB SHEET is a 16 page booklet that is a STUDY GUIDE for information that every teacher and every serious dancer should know.  It also covers the main facts that people need to know who are planning on taking Preliminary Exams.

UNIT CARDS (Medium size - 8" X 3-3/4") are currently available in a "Do it Yourself" format.  We are able to keep the costs at a minimum by printing the cards on card stock, and having YOU do the cutting, (plus lamination if desired).  This size is great for small classes, or private instruction. One purchase provides you with a complete "Master" set that you can actually reproduce as needed.  You may need a whole new set or just a few additional cards. Any local printer can copy the cards "as is" - or even make them larger if you prefer. The 8" cards are only $25 for the whole Set. (32 Unit cards).   CA buyers please add $2.06 tax.

SHIM SHAM DVD:  People keep reporting how easy it is to learn the Shim Sham from our DVD.  It shows a complete, one hour class, learning the Shim Sham from all four sides, from start to finish. Although it was taped at the 1990 Jack & Jill O'Rama, it was made specifically for Thumbs Up Video and is an excellent instructional piece.  Included WITH the DVD is the complete $15 Booklet, listed below.  Skippy personally wants the whole swing world to learn the Shim Sham and so is offering this historical information for only $40.
